There’s no question whether our thoughts are creative. One thought has the creative power of the entire universe. What you think about… you bring about. Life proves this time and again. If you sincerely observe your life experience you will see this truth played out in all areas of your life. What you focus on grows and what you avoid or ignore gets weaker and eventually dies.

So, with this profound wisdom there must come understanding. If we are creative beings unlimited in potential and ever expanding, how is it that we have become so blocked?

Why don’t all people create blissful, adventurous lives of joy and abundance?

What is preventing the collective conscious from maximizing its creative potential to manifest all dreams into reality?

We are blocking ourselves.

Creating, instead of joy and abundance, drama and suffering.

Buddha said all life is suffering.

I don’t agree.

We are born and created with free choice. We can choose suffering or bliss. At any moment we are making that choice, usually completely unaware that we even have the choice to make.

Blocking ourselves, we are perpetually trapped on the hamster wheel of existence instead of transcending the drama and maximizing our gifts, uniqueness and love.

How did we get this way? How did we let this happen?

We are shaped by our residual Karma from this life and past lives.  As children we are always modeling and absorbing our parent’s, siblings, friends, teachers and surroundings. Circumstances and events shape us and instill fear, doubt, insecurity and all other negative emotions that keep us from our true nature which is unlimited creativity, unbounded awareness and pure potentiality.

How do we transcend these Karmas?

There is a unique quest for each individual, but the tools and techniques are available to everyone are the same. And the beauty is…

They work.

All of it works.

ashes and snowIf you are present with the experience and prepared to let go of what is holding you back in that moment, you are freed. You may only need one session. One breath. One moment. Or, you can take the long road, and feel that it is necessary to climb a very steep mountain and claim that “your karmas are very heavy and dense and you need a lot of healing”. This is all just self created drama as well. Like peeling the layers of an onion, you can go through one by one, or use a broad swath and slice through the entire onion and be freed. It’s called spontaneous healing and it is not that uncommon throughout history. Jesus was known to administer these healings, and so was, and still is, John of God, and Amma and various others on earth. It can also be done from within. In fact, it is always done from within, most people just need a catalyst and a bright radiant light to be there to feel comfortable enough to let go fully. It’s scary and it is foreign, that is the reason it is rare for people to do it themselves.

The techniques of clearing the blockages by peeling the onion layer by layer are time tested, proven effective and have many living testimonies to their ability to heal ones life, progressively, which is less scary and more interesting for most people. We’re all on a time schedule. We have 1 hour a few days a week that we “do our yoga” or a few minutes here and there that we are willing to allocate to sit in silence or repeat  a mantra, or breath consciously, or whatever the practice may be.

So no wonder it can take a lifetime to get to the core of the onion!

We’re not giving it enough time. And the value is not great enough.

We are too preoccupied with our own self created drama and self inflicted suffering.

And then there’s the mundane, chopping wood and hauling water. Doing dishes and laundry. Bringing home the bacon. Searching for a partner. Trying to get ahead. We can get so caught in the “maintenance of life” we miss out on living!

The true living occurs when we are beyond all space and time in our minds. The past no longer haunts us  triggering negative responses and reactions to the present situation. In this space of pure consciousness you can do anything you want and still have everything you need, being genuinely alive.

So how do we get there? To that place? Seems like a mystical illusion only truly experienced by monks living in caves or fairytale books, right?

Heaven on Earth

Heaven on Earth

No. Heaven on earth is available to you right now.

People are living it. And it’s happening more and more these days.

Conversely, “Hell” is also being experienced by many on our Earth at this time.

So what does this mean to you?

The more you work on creating heaven on earth within yourself, in your family, in your community, the more we will balance out the destructive forces that are at work on the planet. Since we know and understand that all we are is pure awareness, pure energy, we can also follow that when we are able to build enough radiant light and positive love energy we will counter balance and eventually weaken and dissolve the dark forces that are at work here.

This means we can end the wars from a distance, if enough of us, will be accountable to OURSELVES.

That is the key.

It starts with me.

It starts with you.

Together 1+1= more than 2. How much more? Well, how much and how long can you hold that love in your heart?

We have to heal our own lives first. Unblock any areas that are holding you back from being the most radiant, balanced human being possible.

It takes time, discipline and commitment.

Most people falter there. Seems like hard work.

But that’s in your mind too!

What is it that has defined that which will improve your life as “work” and that which is typically not in the best interest of your evolution, to be “fun”? It starts as early as infancy. A child is given to options and notices the lightness in the parent’s voice when referring to stereotypically “fun” activities. And also picks up on the heaviness of the “work” indicators. Unconsciously you are influencing everyone around with everything you do, including and especially in ways such as the tone of voice you use, unspoken communication and eye contact. This is because before language was created, people communicated in sounds, and sounds correlated to emotions and energy.

It’s all in your mind. We are living according to a code book of conditioned responses that we’ve convinced ourselves are the law or truth, and then we set other’s by these standards we live by as well.

There is but one truth, and that is love. We are pure potential. And beyond that, most other concepts are open to discussion and typically defined by varying perceptions of that one truth and the counter opposite of that truth, which is fear. We must approach our choices more openly, without preconceptions or judgments based upon what we have experienced in the past.

An example of this in real life: One person can think eating healthy is a form of torture. While another can see it as a way to induce blissful sensations, raise one’s natural energy, chi, prana, radiance, and let eating be one less problem- one less obstacle- one less form of self-inflicted suffering blocking them from their highest most radiant self.

And the same works for everything you know you should do, but avoid like the plague, making up every excuse in the book along the way.

Meditation is one of the most commonly avoided practices that has been time tested and proven to induce only positive, life enhancing and enriching benefits and results.

Why do we run from meditation?

We run because it is scary to face our own mind. We live in fear.

When you sit still and have to face that wild monkey brain you have to be sincere and honest with yourself:  this is who I have become. This is who I am becoming. This is what is shaping the future of my life.

Wow!

With that comes great responsibility.

STOP.

You have the power to change all of it.

In this moment…

To be FREE from it.

How?

Let Go and Fly!

Simply let it go.

When I was in yoga school for the first time I stayed with that mantra for 10 weeks. Every morning when I woke up at 4:45am and drove 45 minutes to sit in a dark room with a pink faced man and a small group of other seekers, I breathed with that mantra. I let it go deep into the core of me. I let go of the pain in my heart I was holding from my broken dysfunctional childhood, remaining grateful for the blessings and gifts that I carry from those years into who I am becoming. I let go of the pain I was feeling as a result of a broken and ended loving relationship. I let go of the judgments I placed upon myself about how I should feel, look, act and live.

And I breathed through the pain that I had allowed to take hold of my heart from so many other karmic episodes I had experienced so far on this life path.

So where did it take me?

DEEPER.

When you turn your mind’s eye inward, there’s nowhere to hide.

There’s no where to go but in.

Deep.

Deeper.

Wider, more expansive than even imaginable.

I touched the back of the universe and discovered it is all LOVE.

And I am only love.

Nothing more, nothing less.

“I drank that wine of which the soul is its vessel. Its ecstasy has stolen my intellect away. A light came and kindled a flame in the depth of my soul. A flame so radiant the sun orbits around it like a butterfly.” RUMI

Am I there yet?

I had 2 dreams in one night this week that I transcended my physical body, but my spirit was the same. A deep sense of love and gratitude were all I could feel. When the Tao says the time has come to let go of the body- there is no fear. Only love.

The message I received was “live each moment as your last” and truly honor the angels that have come to help and guide you on your path. Acknowledge them. Communicate your love for them as often as you can. Take every moment as an opportunity to give thanks to the Creator for these blessings that are shaping who you are, who you are becoming and be benevolent with your love!

I see a lot of stinginess with love. As if people are afraid if they give love, they will have less.

They act like if they give love they will have to go without or it will take something from them.

It is the exact opposite.

Love is an ocean- there is always going to be plenty.

More than enough.

If you give your beloved a teaspoon of your ocean of love, or a huge Olympic sized swimming pool portion, no dent is made in the ocean. The impact takes place in the receiver’s heart.

It will never dry up.

So what is LOVE?

Seems like an easy one right? Or is it…?

Love is energy.

Open hearted exchange between or within 1 or more entity. Whether it is in a spirit being human, a tree, the sea, a flower, an animal or the Creator itself-

Love is all pervading consciousness.

Bliss absolute.

Enlightenment

The essence of pure awareness

It is the goal and purpose of life.

Any act can be an act of love.

It starts with loving yourself completely.

3 step process:

*First learn to love yourself completely. Release judgments and self imposed limitations.

*Then learn to love your friends, family, etc without expectation or judgment

*Finally learn to love everyone, everything all the time. Regardless of what they do.

If you have conflicts or challenges in relationships with others or those you “love” it is ALWAYS a mirror reflection of that within yourself that is unhealed- needs exploring, nurturing, kindness, and self love.

Accept this truth: To reach your highest potential- you must NOT overlook the INNER CHILD.

Children are magical creatures. They come into the world as open and perfect as a human being can be – with a few exceptions of a child born with physical and/or mental challenges which are usually a result of a cross between karmic debt left unpaid from past lives and improper natal nurturing (drugs, alcohol, cigarette smoke, nutrient deficient foods, negative thoughts in and around the mother or those she is associated with).

After birth, children are sponges and mirrors and bundles of love.

What are we doing to our children?

It is the parents’ and teacher’s responsibility and privilege to shape these future leaders’ lives.

It must start with you.

Work on yourself and everyone around you benefits.

Clear old baggage that’s holding you back.

Real life example: Perhaps you were encouraged to hold your emotions in as a child. As you grow up, this often results in relationship issues on all levels.

So that’s a red flag.

If a feeling arises and you don’t feel comfortable or capable of sharing or communicating that feeling to the others who may be involved or affected, you are only hurting yourself and everyone else involved.

And then it builds.

And pain attracts pain.

And resentments accumulate and ego battles persist and then counseling mediates.

Everyone’s struggling, but no one wants to give in.

So, now you’re left carrying the torch for the Olympic games of Ego Battling. But in this game, there can be no winners. No one will back down. They battle to the death. And there is no love in that game.

This can go on forever if you allow it to.

You choose when to let it go.

Conversely, if pain attracts pain:

Joy attracts joy! Evolution attracts growth. Light attracts radiant light.

What are you attracting?

Now, perhaps some of what you are attracting is good, abundant and joyful. I am certain that is true for you in at least some areas. So these are the areas you are clear: unblocked and free.

Congratulations!

You’re on your way to liberation! Nice work so far.

Now, what areas do you feel resistance in your life?

What keeps coming up for you time and again? Same story, different characters or plot details?

This is where you are blocked.

Everyone is blocked in some ways.

Maybe with the exception of Amma or a few other Avatar world wide spiritual light beings that are holding the space.

Thank God for them!

Without their presence here we’d have no real life examples of the potential of the human spirit manifest into physical form and the power that we truly do possess!

Each one of us has that same infinite potential power. The blockages and monkey brain draining our life force energy- are the obstacles which must be overcome.

How do we overcome these obstacles?

We must find balance first.

If you’re standing on the edge of a cliff and deliberating on the best method to save your life, the first step you should take would be to find balance. Get on steady ground. Find equal footing.

This can be taken literally and figuratively. When the mind is still and in balance the body can also be still and balance very well. Perfect balance comes from mastery of the mind and strengthening both the yin/yang; shiva/shakti/ male/female aspects of your life.

Work on yourself in all areas on a regular, consistent and continual basis: mind, body, spirit, emotions and manifestation of abundance in all forms. Abundance can come in the form of love, prosperity, joy, fun, adventure, family bonding.

What can be done to create more balance and healing in life?

The beauty of healing and balancing your life is that many practices can lead to the same result. Since each person has different desires, interests, and energetic levels- there is something here for everyone.

The following will balance and heal you in all areas.

These are a must: Yoga, meditation, chakra healing, giving selflessly and pranayama or the control of life force through direct connection and control of spirit and body through breath.

Other modalities that heal, unblock and expand your radiance are:

  1. Swimming- freely in clean water or the healing tonic Mother Ocean
  2. Dancing joyfully to music that moves you on all levels
  3. Singing with no restraint, care not what others may think. Their judgment is merely a reflection of their blockage
  4. Laughing and/or smiling, but most important laughing. Sheer joy. Find joy in every moment. There need not be a joke or an appropriate time to laugh. Allow love to bubble from within you like a fountain of bliss as often as you can, and realign with your inner child essence.
  5. Hugging- heart to heart. What has gotten people so afraid to touch chests in hugging? Bosom to bosom you unite in love. Whether it is between a friend, a lover, a child, mother, stranger, all are healed with heart to heart radiant loving hugs.
  6. Get excited! Life is an adventure. There’s no hurry. There’s no where else to be. Ram Dass said it best: BE HERE NOW.
  7. Be here right now. Present with yourself, how are you feeling? Be present with others and with God. If you need help, ask for it. Don’t put on a front that everything is perfect if it’s not. Admit it and know that you are working on yourself all the time. When you admit you need something, the universe will readily and reliably offer you what you need.

You deserve everything your heart desires.

May your desires be for the benefit of others and for humankind locally, globally, and astrally.

You affect the world with every thought word and deed/action.

At this time and throughout history, it is the collective conscious’ inner turmoil and inner conflict that is being reflected on a global scale throughout the warring nations.

Peace begins with you.

With me.

Inside of us first.

If each being will hold the flame to their own inner turmoil and torch the past, the habits that are keeping us stuck and the obsessive fixation on a future that may never come-

We will see peace on earth at that moment.

It all begins with one thought.

You began with one thought.

The universe desired to experience the physical world and needed a sensory being in order to do that- so we were created.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.

There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

We’re wasting too much time acting small- being limited, harboring fear, jealousy, anger and resentment about the past.

INHALE LET

EXHALE GO.

Just let it all go.

To do list- to strengthen your aura and create a ripple that can change the world:

  1. Recycle, reduce, reuse and compost: for real. We learned it as kids- are you doing it? If so, great job! Tell others when you notice they are being wasteful. That one plastic Evian bottle or cardboard roll for toilet paper adds up and is blocking and congesting Mother Nature’s prana/chi flow! She loves you. Love her by being aware and sharing these simple awareness’s.
  2. Conserve energy. Drive less, car pool, turn ac up a little or use fans more, don’t wash each item of clothing every time you or your kids wear them for 10 minutes. The dryer is an energy hog, along with the ac and the refrigerator. All are necessary in our civilized society, but can be used moderately and modestly. Gas prices are up, so that may be all the motivation you need, but if you need more, simply go to NY or Mexico City and take one whiff of their toxic air. That should inspire you to drive less. We’re talking about the future of our planet. Mother Earth is suffocating; her prana is getting toxic. We must all do our part.
  3. Strengthen your aura or quantum energy field.
    • Talk less
    • Don’t talk about others negatively.
    • Avoid watching TV or violent movies. These are energy/chi vampires.
    • Spend time in nature.
    • Breathe deeply.
    • Exercise, do yoga asanas at least a few every day

    4. Give self-lessly every day, every day. Something like a compliment, a gift, a blessing or your love.
    5. Eat moderately. Overeating affects all 7 chakras. They close down because the energy must be diverted to the digestion. Don’t drink while eating, it dilutes your digestive enzymes and gastric juices making it a much longer process and keeping your radiant energy diverted longer.

6. Eat radiant life enhancing food from Mother Earth. She loves you and has produced these delicious, nutritious, wonderful foods: fruits, veggies, grains nuts, seeds, herbs, spices, even fish. Be grateful for all of the abundance and blessings of food that you have. Avoid foods that society has raped of life. If it can sit on a shelf for years, that means it has been altered for convenience and profit sake. Food was created to naturally decompose. Consider this when shopping: the perimeter is the best foods of the grocery store. Fresh foods with shorter shelf life translate to fresh full of life- take it in an feel radiant power in every cell.

7. Water: is becoming more and more scarce. It is scary. There’s so much water on earth, but only a small percentage of it is drinkable. Luckily the Israeli’s and others, out of necessity, are developing advanced desalinization techniques to make Mother Sea drinkable. But this will come at a high price. Be ready to pay, as we already are.

    1. i.     Water is 70% your body 70% of earth.
    2. ii.     Drink plenty of water each day. Alkaline if you can get it, to prevent cancer of the cells and be your most radiant self. Also, try to only drink 30 minutes before and 1 hour after you eat, to not dilute the digestion process.

8. Get sunshine on your body. Go outside! It is life energy coming from the sun, the most radiant star outside of you, in this solar system. We love the sun! Beware, however, it is getting more powerful as our ozone is being depleted, so less is more. Over exposure to the sun results in cancer and death, not to mention premature aging, wrinkles, sun spots, melasma. It’s a blessing, make sure it’s not an addiction.

9. Listen to uplifting sounds: music with positive upbeat or relaxing sounds, nature, the ocean, birds singing, waterfalls, singing bowls

10. Play an instrument. If you don’t already or feel you are not musical, it’s not too late. It’s never too late. Yes, it is easiest to begin as a young child to cultivate the musical and artistic abilities, but if that wasn’t part of your path growing up, it’s never too late to open and expand your 5th chakra, throat chakra, center for communication and creativity. Sing, play music, paint, create, create, create. In whatever form it comes out of you, this is your unique expression. It will help you become a better communicator and lead to more loving open hearted relationships. It’s all lovely and perfect, just like you.

11. Help others, those in need. Diverting your awareness to others is a wonderful practice to strengthen your aura. Every time you reach out, you become part of an interconnected family of beings working together to create a greater vision for the future. Never feel that if you help another succeed, it will take away from you. The universe doesn’t work that way. Whatever you give- you receive- they say 10 fold. So even if it’s only 1 for 1, it’s always worth it. Just make sure you are not giving to others so much, that you forget about yourself and allow your life to deteriorate as a result of your giving. Remember, don’t let the return from the universe be the motivation for your giving to others. Know that you will always have enough when you give some away. If your cup is full, can it hold any more? The answer is yes. If you pour some out and make room for more to be poured in. that’s what I’m asking you to do. Just pour a little out to make room for expansion, for the growth as your capacity expands so does your cup. Prepare for the abundance to come raining down upon you now.

To begin to take control of your destiny, you must first learn to:

Mind control has been a topic of intrigue for people throughout history. It was used improperly during WWII when A. Hitler brainwashed his army to destroy mass populations in order to create what he believed to be a superior race of humans. Conversely, it was used in a positive way when M.L. King Jr. spoke to thousands of people, inspiring them to rise up to their potential and defy the main stream mentality when he said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” He was not merely speaking to these people’s minds; however, he was speaking to their hearts and souls.

In order to master one’s mind, it is necessary to see the correlation and connection between the mind, emotions, soul and the body.

In ancient yogic scriptures, the mind is often referred to as a “monkey”. This is because it appears to have a will of its own and if we don’t ever attempt to tame it, it will rule our lives. It will lead us from one poor choice to the next, driven by our ego and desires to satisfy our lower faculties of greed, lust, and power. You can see these tendencies in Hitler’s actions, and in the actions of many military war leaders, as well as politicians, celebrities and others who are publically visible in the world today. You don’t have to be publically visible to suffer this mental sickness. It is not just some of us, but all of humanity that could use a little lesson in mind control. Not necessarily controlling the minds of others, but more the control of our own minds.

First step:

Observe the thoughts that arise in your mind. Acknowledge the chaotic mental chatter that resounds throughout your mind from the moment you wake up until the final moment before you drift off to sleep at night.

In yoga we teach 3 levels of meditation, Concentration, Contemplation and Total Absorption (Samadhi). We practice this in many ways.

For level one- concentration, you focus to bring stillness to the mind. This can be done with Tratak candle gazing meditation, during yoga practice while in asanas, or gazing at anything such as the sun, a mandala, etc. It is merely the quiet observation of the thoughts while focusing. This is the key. When we observe objectively the parade that is continuously marching in every direction of our mind, we can begin to see more clearly the root of our suffering. In Buddhism, which is the religion that teaches simply how to control the mind and emotions to minimize suffering and maximize happiness. I had the privilege to hear the Dalai Lama speak about the 4 Noble Truths, which is fundamentally their key to moving toward an enlightened life. At the core of these truths is the concept of non-attachment.

Level 2 involves contemplation, which asks you to objectively and honestly assess the thoughts that arise within your consciousness and decide where they are arising from, whether they are serving you or acting as mere distractions, or just some cyclical pattern that is unnecessary and taking up valuable mental energy that could be better utilized elsewhere.

In Level 3 we enter into what yogis refer to as “Total Absorption”. In this state there are no discernable thoughts. We melt into the thoughtless, timeless space that occupies the other 99% of the Universe. We merge with the Oneness from which we came and we Unite with the Supreme Source. Typically in the Unified thoughtless state we feel completely liberated and free. Love flows freely from our hearts and we feel connected to all that was, is and ever will be. This is the goal of Life, to live in that state, and to be able to operate in our very grounded lives here on earth simultaneously. I called this accessing the Bliss Channel.

Releasing Attachment to Relieve Suffering

In many ancient teachings they speak about attachment as ‘ego grasping’. In an attempt cloudto become grounded and feel supported in its mental chaos, the mind wants to cling to things. When there is nothing to attach to, the mind is free and in that space of freedom, there is a lot of ambiguity, which can lead to fear, if one is not familiar with the feeling of freedom and openness.

There is a distinguishable difference between non-attachment and being detached. When one is detached they are assuming the role of the opposite or flip side of being attached. This allows for the interaction with attachment, just from a negative polarity. In simple terms: being detached still exists within the spectrum of ways in which one can experience attachment, while non-attachment steps away from the entire reality of attachment vs. detachment and just observes the doer, the act being done and that which is effect this has on the whole.

When we discover the attachments in our lives it is often a wake up call. I know for me, I had many. I have come to realize it is usually in losing things very dear to us that we come face to face with our attachments and eventually learn these lessons. The lessons will present themselves time and again until we truly learn them and embody their wisdom.

**For example, I learned early in my childhood how attached I was to my mother. When my sister’s and I were separated from our mother and put in foster care, I cried every night for almost 5 years. I was so attached. I felt that if she wasn’t in my physical presence she was ‘gone’. This is a common belief system that must be reconciled in order to truly learn and embody non-attachment.**

Before I go into how to embody non-attachment, let’s explore the nature of attachment and ‘stuff’ we think we can ‘own’ ‘have’ or ‘keep’. The most basic attachment we have is to LIFE. The opposite of that is the most fundamental fear most people suffer from -the FEAR OF DEATH. Often times, people who have near death experiences, or lose someone very close to them are able to release their attachment to the concept of LIFE, as we know it in this body, and embrace a broader perspective of LIFE as that which is permanent and exists beyond the physical realm and beyond the experience in this particular body.

Let’s discuss this using the Descartes ‘methodological skepticism’.

israel5First of all, starting with the belief that at our essence we are pure consciousness or ‘spirit’, then we can draw from this that all other living beings (humans specifically in this example) are also, at their essence, spirit as well.

With this understanding we can draw the conclusion that even if someone is not in our physical presence, his or her spirit could potentially be with us just the same. As it is not the physical bones, blood, matter and fibers that make that person, but their essence and the light that they embody.

From this we can draw the understanding that we can have the experience of that person even if they are not physically present with us at any one specific time, as it is their essence that we experience and not only the physical body they are housed within.

This can lead us to see that even after a person’s body dies, or is separated from us for a length of time; we hold their essence in our mind, heart and soul all the time.

And with this relieving perspective, we can come to see that even after a person is no longer with us in the flesh, they are ever and always with us in spirit, perhaps even more so then before.

Therefore, to suffer the pain of attachment and its ensuing pain of separation is a pattern or cycle that can be easily avoided.

When we truly have faith in spirit and hold the essence of other’s within our hearts, they NEVER leave us.

“We are not separate. We are always together, unified at the SOURCE.”
